Serving Those Who Serve Others

Last modified on June 22, 2017

Stephen & Katie Kleinjung

Katie and Stephen Kleinjung are from St. Paul, Minnesota and live and work in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Along with their three children, Shepherd, Valor and Haven, the Kleinjungs are currently immersed in Thai culture and language. While studying language full time, the Kleinjungs love to have students they mentor over for dinner, Bible study and games. They believe strongly in incarnational mission, which is why they are entirely committed to becoming proficient at the language. Shepherd, Valor and Haven are probably the best Kleinjung missionaries, however – their ability to adapt, invite people in, learn language and grasp the love of God resonates with every person they meet. It is the hope of the Kleinjungs to help native, indigenous leaders plant churches and open community centers which will serve their own, unreached people. Katie and Stephen would also love to play a role in training a new generation of missionaries who value learning over teaching and incarnation over instruction. Follow along at www.thekleinjungs.com and enjoy all the crazy, encouraging experiences this wholehearted family goes through.
